Hybrid Complex Medical Unit
The HCMU is our med/psych unit which opened in January 2022. It specializes in caring for patients with both active medical and active psychiatric conditions. With 8 licensed medical beds, the HCMU can accommodate both general and intermediate level of care patients. It is staffed primarily by dual trained med/psych attending with resident coverage from med/psych residents as well as psychiatry residents and internal medicine residents.
