Diversity Statement

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine aligns its mission with that of The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. We aim to increase the supply of psychiatric physicians serving the state, improve the mental health status of the region, and train physicians who will meet the health care needs of the state. We are committed to social justice and therefore, we embrace a climate of diversity and inclusion.
